Well, it the 4th of July...and you know what that means right??!?!??!!

.....BBQs, hotdogs, apple pie, baseball and fireworks!
On this special day the United States Embassy here in Canberra, Australia, throws a huge party! The ambassador used to own the Texas Rangers, so he is a really big baseball fan. So for the 4th of July he has a huge party with tons of baseball decorations and baseball stations. Like a batting cage, pitching cage...fun stuff like that, and tons of things to give away. He also has a huge BBQ with hotdogs and apple pie. The ambassador even got a famous baseball player to come, Chilli Davis. It was funny, cause he was wearing his World Series rings (not that he shouldn't be). It's just that they are huge! Yeah, there where about 300 people there tonight, with the little kids making up about 200 of that! Lots of little brats! For one of the stations they had tonight, it was a wiffle ball station, where they pitched to you and you tried to get a homerun. When I got up to hit the ambassador was pitching. Right before I got up there were a whole bunch of little kids (that can't hit to save their puney little lives ) attempting to hit the ball, it was funny...yeah...So he was like littly tossing them to the little kids. So when I got up, I was the first big kid (adult ) to get up after the tiny ones, so he steps back, and his first pitch was a peg at my head! BASTARD!...lol...I guess it was a joke, I thought it was funny. Then everyone did their "Ohhhhhhhhh!" thingie. You know what I mean. Then I had to jack a few over the fence! Yeah, then after that, when we were all leaving he shook my hand and said that I have a "Nice Swing"...GIDDIE UP!
And that, my friends, was my 4th of July....have a good one!
